A short back-story
I work currently as Group Digital Creative Director at J.Walter Thompson Group Sydney across the J. Walter Thompson business and Webling digital agency. Before that, I worked at Havas Worldwide as Digital Creative Director and Director of Innovation. Within the first 6 months, I created the now famous Durex Fundawear product that has gone on to win at major shows including Cannes Lions, Spike Asia, New York Festivals, AWARD Awards and Internet Advertising Bureau.
Continuing on with my passion for product design and innovation I recently worked with Unilever’s OMO to release Peggy - the world’s first smart peg - that helps families to wash better and make more time for the moments that matter.
My work on Virgin Mobile’s Cheers For All The Years was awarded one of only two Webby Awards for Australia in 2014.
I was proud to do a stint at Razorfish as Digital Creative Director helping land the iconic Qantas account in 2012 and as Group Head on brands including Sony, P&O Cruises and Blackberry and was heavily involved in driving innovation labs work. Prior to Razorfish, I was the National Digital Creative Director of Southern Cross Austereo where I was one of the founding digital team members. I achieved my goal of transforming the business and driving award-winning work with successes at Internet Advertising Bureau Awards (IAB), Media Federation Australia Awards (MFA), Association for Data-Driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA), and Australian Interactive Media Industry Association Awards (AIMIA).
I've judged at Cannes Lions, Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), New York Festival, Association for Data-Driven Marketing, Advertising (AIMIA), AWARD and AdNews. I've had the honour of speaking at SXSW Interactive Festival, 360º Mumbrella Conference and Semi-Permanent events. I lecture on ideation at Miami AdSchool and I'm an active member of Creative Social global digital community.
I invest my spare time in one of my great passions – coffee – as the founder of coffee company Scribe Coffee: roaster of specialty coffee and supplying coffee by subscription to coffee drinkers around the world. This experience gives me unique insights and experience building brands, online retail and marketing that I apply to my client’s business challenges.
